I’m shutting down my computer now, in preparation for moving to Seattle tomorrow. I won’t be checking email or anything like that so if anybody needs anything, then… well, tough.

    Shutting down a computer before moving feels very final, doesn’t it? You stop and think, “wow, if I’m going to turn off a Unix machine, that definitely means I’m going ahead with this.”

    Well, or maybe it’s just me.
