I just got back from a vacation.

I don’t really do vacations very often. I think it is mainly because I have everything already set up at home to achieve maximum relaxation and laziness, and so leaving home is almost always more stressful than just staying in. But, I decided that it would be fun to see another city, and I had some e-friends who wanted me to come for Thanksgiving (reasons unknown and, I firmly believe, unknowable), so I decided to drive… to St. Louis.

The drive was more or less horrible, but the visit was fun. I went up in the Gateway Arch, which was a pretty major letdown. Saw the Anheuser-Busch factory, with all of the Christmas lights, which was pretty impressive. Saw some bars, fun supermarkets, had some pretty good sushi. Spent all night Wednesday and most of the day Thursday cooking a gigantic vegetarian Thanksgiving dinner, which turned out well in nearly all aspects. So, overall a good trip.
